Another americana forte. Not a literal road trip this time though. More a trip back through the decades. Think Back to the Future. But rather than rewinding to the fifties, rewind to the sixties via the nineties. Or as the show notes put it, “a nostalgic look towards 60’s West Coast psychedelia. The Beach Boys remixed with 90’s New York hip hop”. Let’s just put it this way, what do you imagine when you think of Tom Wolfe’s, The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test? Well, think that, in a surfer board short, topped off with an animal print fake fur slash short haired animal skin. Sounds wrong but looks good.
