The mother of all denim, for the second episode of Calvin Klein’s CKunfiltered Jeans video series, fashion authority Nell Kalonji explores the nostalgic style of denim. Birthed in the late eighties, mom jeans have remained a staple in everyday life – with the high-waisted silhouette proving a classic. Touching on her own denim beginnings – Kalonji’s mother would dress her in double denim as a child – the stylist also touches on the straight leg jean (her personal favourite), giving her tips on how to wear the style.
