CHRISTIAN DIOR: PRE FALL 2013
Raf shot pre fall in the atelier, with the back drop of little hands furiously toiling. The collection itself is built around “new classics”, or his update of the House’s codes – the bar jacket, iconic prints & florals. I’m particularly keen on the abstracted houndstooth top and the undulating grey jumper with skirt and green necklace – these would make very chic work looks I think. And all greys are flattering to the skin, which is key when you live a night time existence as I do (or work in a basement which I also do. not so glam). When i emerge from this basement chrysalis to chair business meetings I will do so in a bar jacket with poker straight hair.
