CHLOE: BACKSTAGE GIRLS PARIS FASHION WEEK S/S14
Though Chloe will always be distinctly French it’s rather unavoidably gained a British twist via Claire Waight Keller. So it makes sense that admiring the collection backstage- before its entrance onto a sandy runway, we couldn’t help but think- through the muted palette, and appearance of oversized knits of the English seaside. Where else would a cosy sweater be required in Spring/Summer? Add to that a pounding drum n’ bass front of house soundtrack, and we’re suddenly remembering long forgotten, hedonistic summers spent in Brighton.
