Pharrell Williams plays a young lift-boy who meets Gabrielle Chanel in a new short film that will accompany the Paris-Salzburg Metiers d’art show next week. In the film, Pharrell wears a jacket which will later inspire the little black jacket that has become synonymous with the house. “Reincarnation is the story of a lift attendant’s jacket being reincarnated as a timeless piece of women’s wear,” explains Karl Lagerfeld. The face that launches a million Instagram likes, Cara Delevingne, will also star in the film alongside Geraldine Chaplin who plays Gabrielle. “None of this would have been possible without Pharrell Williams, Cara Delevingne and Geraldine Chaplin. It’s the perfect cast.” We agree Karl and can’t wait to see the film in its entirety.
