Chanel has welcomed aboard Lucia Pica as global creative make-up and colour designer to help steer the fashion house into the future of beauty and fashion. Prior to securing this gig (the ultimate make-up artist gig?), Pica worked as an assistant to Charlotte Tilbury before working as a freelance make-up artist. (Check out her Models.com profile for a more detailed overview of her recent work.) After some research I learned that Pica is a Gemini which, if you believe in horoscopes, means that she is adjustable, versatile, enthusiastic, softly-spoken, witty and intellectual. These traits, aside from her creativity, distinctive colour expertise and modern interpretation of beauty, makes her an ideal candidate for the job. Congratulations, Lucia.
