CHANEL: 42, AVENUE MONTAIGNE
Ok- time to shop. Well we weren’t going to spend a week in Paris looking at the finest the cities
ateliers have to offer and come away empty handed now were we? Off to Chanel’s newly re-opened boutique at 42 Avenue Montaigne- the houses third address in the City of Light’s most prestigious of streets. Conceived by 10 fave- New York architect Peter Marino, the 380 square metre space combines the houses signature motifs with a plethora of contemporary art. Retail space meets salon, meets gallery. End of show season (at least for a little while) and the term ‘spent’ is about to take on obvious double meaning.
