Well, to celebrate their 100th anniversary, sportswear giant Champion is taking it to the next level. The celebratory campaign under the name 100 Years for the Team, the American brand is inviting their global audience to get involved and teams to share their stories via social media using the #Champion100 tag, all for an opportunity to receive limited edition goodies and a chance to get into the spotlight as part of their upcoming centennial video and social media content. Founded in Rochester, New York back in 1919 as Knickerbocker Knitting Mills, Champion has become a staple athletic wear brand whose presence in all team sports helped define the contemporary idea of American sportswear. A hundred years, later legendary basketball star Magic Johnson is inviting teams from all over the world to join in the celebration.
