CELINE: PRE FALL 2013
Phoebe Philo continues to have a proportion freak out at Celine, something I’m enjoying enormously after spring’s loose and relaxed look. Her offerings for Autumn include tight little suits, enormously baggy trousers and oversized coats, and massive wedges. I particularly like the leather top with big peplum – this look is even serving me a bit of ‘cute intergalactic Japanese schoolmistress’ with the bead in the hair, which is not a feeling Celine usually gives me. Obviously this is amazing. In fact it’s all quite cartoon schoolmistress with the high collared shirts, long pleated leather skirts and two tone shoes.
