CELINE: PARIS FASHION WEEK S/S 14
Gone was the minimalist palette. Gone was the quiet, subtle, demure Celine girl. This was a riot of colour, texture and vibrancy. A totally eclectic ‘mash up’ of all the seasons favourite trends in a totally desirable, wearable interpretation. Totally covetable Notting Hill Subterranean moment. Loved the raffia trailing from the inside of bags. Huge brush stroke whirls of black, yellow, red and green. The accessories were perfection – bags with shredded leather fringes and handles made of huge silver hoops held horizontally. Also loved the insertion of the bright vibrant intensity of a vivid blue bonded crumpled patent coat, and the hammock woven skirts in black and white. Absolutely brightened my day and took me back to a place of happiness and sunshine.
