What an honour to be invited to the 11th annual Chopard Trophy. At the 64th edition of Cannes, the 2 awards honoured Astrid Berges Frisbey and Niels Schneider for ‘demonstrating exceptional ability over the past year’. The presence of Robert de Niro made proceedings all the more weepy, for those who weren’t too distracted by the diamond cougar necklace adorning Chopard co-president Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele’s neck. Beaming under the hundreds of flashbulbs!
While Frisbey was barely able to string a sentence together in her beautiful gallic tones…
Schneider could have won a separate award for James Dean style posturing. He’s pretty fit though- have you seen that bit in ‘Heartbeats’ where marshmallows fall all around? Well you need to!
