Stop, everything that you’re doing! Burberry Her has just landed, and it’s the latest scent of the British heritage brand. A sugary sweet confection, it’s a cotton candy pink medley of berry top notes with jasmine, violet, dry amber and musk. Striking, yet delicate. And who better to front the campaign? None other than London’s good-girl-gone-bad (but in the best way possible), Cara Delevingne. Shot by the illustrious Juergen Teller, Cara is the definition to Her. A nod to the brand’s very first fragrance Burberrys for Men launched in 1981, Her reached into the depths of their archive and have reimagined the bottle design with a new-added elegance.
As part of the first perfume campaign since the appointment of designer Ricardo Tisci, at the helm, Burberry released a love letter to London – in case anyone was to forget. Our girl Cara, a Hammersmith native, takes a leisurely trip around London in an open top double decker. Before smouldering for Teller’s lens, she also recorded her own version of Hubert Gregg’s classic anthem Maybe it’s because I’m a Londoner. With iconic sites behind her, Cara waves her Burberry scarf-cum-flag as the song plays in the background.
Burberry Her is the new signature scent for the London woman. She is bold, adventurous and a straight shooter. She is Eliza Doolittle, she is Lauren Cooper and she is us, the Burbs fan club of Ten Towers. And while Lauren Cooper might not be bovveredd by this drop, we all certainly are. Ahh-RIGHTT?!?
Burberry Her is available to shop online and in selected store.
