Teaming up with EuroItalia, Brunello Cucinelli has concocted two fragrances which are both inspired by the serene landscapes of Umbria, where the brand is based. “We wanted a fragrance that could feel like a cashmere sweater,” Mr. Cucinelli told WWD, having begun work on both scents before the pandemic.
The feminine scent, dubbed Brunello Cucinelli pour Femme, is a sublime blend of chestnut, pink pepper, prestige woods and citrus notes. The masculine scent, Brunello Cucinelli pour Homme, has a spicy juniper scent, mixed with angelica, black pepper, clary sage and ginger.
“Some years ago, on the passing of my very dear friend, a producer of aromatic essences, a beautiful soul, I dreamt that one day I would dedicate a new product to his memory, writes Mr. Cucinelli. “Today I’m making that dream come true, a dream I’ve never abandoned in all these years.”
