I (Dominic the Hermit) went out this weekend – twice! I know it may be hard to believe as all I only ever talk about binge watching Netflix and getting drunk (alone) and dancing to ABBA. But I did it. It was terrifying at first but then something great came out of it. Donatella is not scared of an adventure though. She’s blonde, she’s skinny, she’s rich and according to the Lady Gaga song, a little bit of a bitch. But we don’t believe that here at Ten Towers. I bet she’s dead nice. For Donatella’s most recent adventure she travelled with photographer Bruce Weber all the way to Chicago to shoot the AW16 Versace campaign. The pair haven’t worked together since 1999 but I’d have to ask some of the other members of Ten Towers about it, as I was a mere child back then. But back to the pictures. As well as Versace girls Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid the campaign also enlisted an array of real-life men, dancers and even children. As well as the pictures, there will also be accompanying videos, directed by Weber, which will be shown a the Versace SS17 men’s show later this month in Milan. So don’t let Monday get you down, take a leaf out of Donatella’s book and go for an adventure. How very Versace you’ll be.
