Kim Jones Has Designed A Capsule Collection For Areal, A Sub-Brand Of Bosideng

Kim Jones has designed a capsule collection for Areal, a sub-brand of Bosideng.

Following a brief hiatus, the British designer – known for his game-changing tenures at Louis Vuitton Men’s (2011-2018) and, more recently, as artistic director of Dior Men (2018-2024) – is stepping into a new role that sees him leading the creative vision for a capsule collection for Areal, a just-launched premium urbanwear label under Chinese outerwear giant Bosideng.

Founded in 1976, Bosideng is one of China’s biggest fashion exports, best known globally for its high-performance down jackets and technical outerwear. With Areal – a 15 to 20 piece capsule – the brand is carving out space in the luxury sphere, fusing advanced materials with elevated design language to create a more sculptural, fashion-forward take on city dressing.

Jones, whose past work includes collaborations with Supreme, Kaws, Denim Tears, Sacai and more, is known for blending streetwear energy with couture craftsmanship. His influence transformed Dior Men into a cultural juggernaut and modernised Louis Vuitton’s menswear through a lens of global luxury and unexpected collaborations.

His collection for Areal is expected to debut for autumn/winter 2026, signalling a shift in Bosideng’s global fashion ambitions and expanding Jones’s creative reach into a new market.
