Despite living in a time of “social distancing,” it’s becoming increasingly important to stick together, celebrate each other and support the freelance creatives whose work is currently most under pressure – all of that without any physical contact, of course. Making sure they’re supporting their own creative network are Bottega Veneta, who today launched a digital platform dedicated to celebrating the people that make Daniel Lee’s world through a series of weekly residencies. Starting with set designer Lee himself, Bottega Residency will each week see another member of the brand’s tight-knit community of collaborators, muses and talent curating the brand’s social media content.
On Mondays, you will meet the creative-in-residence and learn about their favourite writer. Tuesdays are saved for exploring the works of their favourite artists, while on Wednesdays you’ll be able to delve deep into their cinematic taste by watching clips from their favourite directors. Thursdays are for Bottega’s global guide of some of the best virtual experiences, while each Friday will see a music event unravel via their digital channels. And they’ve even got your weekend plans covered – learning recipes from world-renowned chefs on Saturdays and indulging into culture-defining films on Sunday. Just as we thought we’d ran out of things to do, there goes Bottega and saves the day…
