Choosing a favourite Beyoncé look from her Renaissance world tour is impossible. The superstar’s dizzy array of custom pieces, courtesy of her styling team consisting of Shiona Turini, KJ Moody, and Julia Sarr-Jamois, are designed by fashion’s biggest names. Whether it’s a rhinestone encrusted Loewe catsuit, a Tiffany-blue minidress (made in conjunction with Giles Deacon), or a sparkly Miu Miu tank and shorts, every stop is filled with show-stopping fashion moments. For the star’s two-night stint at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, one outfit stood out: a sparkling Alexander McQueen bodysuit with a matching embroidered cape.
Beyonce’s no stranger to wearing Alexander McQueen on tour. Her 5 nights in Londo included a red minidress inspired by a look from the brand’s AW23 collection. Later in Nashville, she opted for a lustrous silver bodysuit, complete with matching gloves and thigh-high boots. And most recently in Chicago, Beyoncé wore a tulle catsuit that featured a sequin horse – a nod to the Renaissance album cover. When it came to her New York City stop, the team knew they had to go big. Taking a cue from Beyonce’s Chicago outfit, the atelier opted to highlight the horse motif again. Consisting of hand sewn sequins and faceted beads, each panel was laid flat and checked against the pattern before assembly. To finish it off, the brand made a dramatic floor length cape consisting of silver shard sequin embroidery .
