And by movie, we mean the one minute and 20 second long Autumn/ Winter 2018 campaign film. But it’s pretty much like a feature length film. In the wild, wild (mid) West the iconic duo Miss Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner are all wigged up, skin tight denim and animal printed suede slicked on. It’s the DSquared2 uniform. Directed by Mert and Marcus, Bella has turned to her natural blonde colour, bigger and bouncier than ever alongside partner in crime Kendall who is still brunette and brooding as they writhe around their motel room just off a highway. Probably not a situation they’ve ever been in before but we love this concept. They ‘re watching an old Western movie, the perfect background noise as they look oh so bored so (plot twist) decide to call up some boys for a partay. Get it, girls. All the Autumn/ Winter 2018 looks, neck ties, studded boots, fur and leather are all sped up into this high voltage whirlwind. TBH, the boys don’t look like Bella and Kendall’s types but they gotta work with what they’ve got. We understand. A retro motel room, ‘60s decor and a whole lot of DSquared2. Definitely feature film length stuff.
