It’s that time of year again when the bleak winter coldness puts a damper on our skincare routine. Bad weather tends to equal bad skin, and with no decent sunshine due to arrive till March time, some sort of saving grace is well and truly needed right now.
Cue N°1 De Chanel, a new line of beauty products from the house of Chanel, made up of skincare, makeup and a fragrance mist. The range is inherited from Gabrielle Chanel’s favourite flower, the camellia, which the house’s beauty team discovered has the properties to prevent five signs of ageing. All while leaving you smelling sublime. Impressive, right?
What’s on offer, then? There are revitalising serums, creams, lotions and powder-to-foam cleaners as part of the skincare collection. And for makeup, the team have concocted a foundation that’s made up of 94 per cent ingredients of natural origin, as well as a lip and cheek balm. Refreshing camellia water and the extract was used to create the collection’s fragrance mist.
And that’s not all. The new line has continued to develop the luxury house’s outstanding commitment towards sustainable production. The collection’s packaging is made from recyclable glass and an infinity formula that harnesses the energy of naturally derived ingredients: 97 per cent, to be exact. Think hydrating aqua, soothing olive oil and earthy shea butter, a delicious cocktail for a youthful, radiant and hydrated glow to our skin.
