Aside from unashamedly gawking at Anthony Joshua on Instagram, we can’t say we are into boxing – or any kind of violence for that matter. Yet, trust Cara Delevingne to change that. For the first time ever, Balmain are teaming up with Puma on not one, but two capsule collections, colliding traditional boxing gear with a sense Parisian couture. And who better to bring along for the ride than Olivier Rousteing’s muse and BFF Delevingne, whose “irrepressible spirit,” informed every step of the collaboration.
Uniting the performance heritage of Puma with the luxurious Balmain look, the first drop consists of tech-y footwear, apparel and accessories which will all be produced and sold at Puma stores and online. The second installment touches on the hi-glam aesthetic of Balmain; with six pieces in total, which will be sold as part of Balmain’s SS20 collection. You can experience the collab in action in the video below, which sees Delevingne and Balmain’s leading man running their own fashion Fight Club. Don’t worry, there’s no blood, or guts for that matter – just serious fashions. It looks like the Balmain army may have just found their new workout gear.
The Puma x Balmain collaboration created with Cara Delevigne launches November 21st online and in select stores.
