So a very late night and the only thing that would get me out of bed would be Balenciaga and it was well worth it. Teddy girls collide with punks, hard over sized hound’s tooth, studded undersoles of flats – yes flats.
Girls like Stella Tennant defined the look for me – strong attitude, elements of rebellious androgny, hard and very reminiscent of the whole attitude of ‘This is England 1986’ which I am totally obsessed with at the moment.
Punk meets Mod meets Teddy boy! Loved it! For me it gave a modern hard girl attitude – wanted to be her, or at least in her cool girl gang!
