‘Think of this book as a global go round of the worlds most influential galleries’ says press release. Why thankyou dear Taschen. I had a bit of a weird obsession with the Argos catalogue when I was a kid and this fourth volume of Art Now has replaced my desire to leaf through a weighty tome at warp speed- the incredible works of art strobing before my eyes replacing the bunk beds, clippers and barbie dolls. Without any pieces of modern art in my own home I can at least leave it open at my favourite pieces as a kind of substitute. Only thing is the coffee table beneath- itself purchased from an only marginally more classy purveyor of homeware. Maybe I need a plinth or something? Anyway- love this Richard Prince. Love love love. Out now.
