Schedule change klaxon! Yep, there’s more. News has broken this morning that Mr Armani will shift his Emporio show from Milan to Paris this September. Zut alors! Citing “exceptional” circumstances, the collection will be shown there for one season only, celebrating their newly refurbished store and cafe in the city. “The restyling of the store and the EA Caffé in Saint-Germain (in Paris) have provided the opportunity to rethink the location and timing of the show,” Mr Armani said in a statement. Hopefully it will be second time lucky – last time he chose to show in Paris to celebrate the Emporio store opening and fragrances in 1998, the whole thing was shut down by police due to security concerns. Oops. But, with new designers installed at houses, the return of familiar faces and now this, Paris is looking to be quite the week. Stay tuned.
