Have you ever wondered what a fashion photographer dreams of at night? Wonder no longer, because after seeing the above video (exclusive to 10), Abstract Journey, shot by regular Dior collaborator Manon Gicquel during Sarah Moon’s photo session for the House, we’re pretty sure we’ve found our answer. This reverie of a film showcases just a few of the highlights from Dior’s Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2018 collection as though they had appeared in a dream, which, to be fair, they have done for us on more than one occasion. We dream in couture, obviously. Playing with the abstract and delicate silhouettes that defined the collection in all their vaporous, wispy magic, the film is a beautiful homage to the traditional craft of the house and Maria Grazia Chiuri’s vision of the future. Plus, we’re suckers for any king of slo-mo dress twirl scenario. Of which there are plenty. Watch above.
