With my anticipation already heightened by the Marc Quinn giant flower sculptures, the collection only took the experience to an even greater level. Inspired by Sarah’s treasured collection of antique Kimono’s it had a very definite and singular theme, and executed with such exquisite technique and detailing, became so precious and fragile. Organza Kimono coats covered in tiny black embroidered cherry blossom. Laser cut chiffon flowers covered skirts and Kimono trouser suits in jacquard that took your breath away. I adored the whole execution of the collection and the attention to detail. The evolution of the theme was perfection.
