It’s that time of the year when we’re looking for a perfect bag to log all our fashion week belongings. There’s our bottle of water, a bunch of invites, some perfume and a couple of pairs of sunglasses et c’est ça! So, as we look for that perfect new bag, Alexander McQueen brings a pretty fabulous contender. Their new Pin Bag is just the perfect size and a total classic shape with a twist. It was first shown as part of the brand’s AW18 catwalk collection, and instantly took our attention for its combo of simplicity and attention to detail. It’s crafted in sleek calf leather with a chain shoulder strap, and comes in exactly four colourways – black, bottle green, bone, carmine and lust red. And then there’s the pin itself, a good-luck charm for the wearer that varies from each colour – there’s the sparkling butterfly, a beetle or a spider. According to Google, spider is the luckiest of the three so we’ll go for that one.
