If Met Gala is the prom night of the fashion industry, then the Fashion Awards are the graduation ceremony. And in a week, the best in class will be going away with their fancy accolades. This year’s edition of the Fashion Awards is being held on December 10th at the Royal Albert Hall in London. And today, we found out who our hosts will be. After our Victoria’s Secret babe & the long-legged queen Karlie Kloss showed off her hostess skills in 2017, supermodel Alek Wek is taking the reigns as comedian Jack Whitehall’s co-host for the night. Following her stint as the host, Kloss secured herself the spot as the face of the upcoming season of Project Runway. Does this mean Wek is also coming for the world of TV? After seeing her acing it in Luca Guadagnino’s remake of Suspiria, we surely do hope so.
With all the nominees ranging from Matty Bovan in the British Emerging Talent Womenswear category to VS newcommer Winnie Harlow as the Model of the Year all the way to Kim Jones for Dior Men’s in the run for the Designer of the Year, this is bound to be a very star-studded night full of fabulous fashions.
