Hard to believe we were once without an A.P.C. store in the British Isles. Only a few years ago, the London-based devotee had to hop a Eurostar to Paris to get a good fix. It was particularly tricky if your addiction to the brand necessitated a daily visit. Yes, I thanked my lucky stars for the quicker commute when they set up shop in Dover Street and now there is news of an A.P.C branch in east London. It is almost too good to be true! Why Jean Touitou, you are spoiling us! Now all those classic French basics which I love so much are only a 15 minute ride on the 149 away.
