What watch are you wearing?
I’m wearing a Santos de Cartier with dual time zones.
Tell us about it.
It features a steel case, a seven-sided crown set with a synthetic blue spinel and a satin-finish grey sunray-brushed dial. This is the large model, and it comes with an interchangeable strap in smoky grey calfskin.
How did you come to own it?
After seeing it during New York Fashion Week, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Once I returned home to Atlanta, I scheduled an in-store visit to try it on. I was instantly obsessed and decided to make it my first luxury watch purchase that same day.

What’s the story behind it?
Cartier invited me to preview its newest models during fashion week and this particular watch stood out to me immediately.
What do you love about it and why is it your favourite?
Owning a luxury watch from a prestigious brand like Cartier just makes me feel extremely lucky and chic. Cartier is synonymous with fine jewellery and impeccable craftsmanship. I’ve worked very hard in my career to be able to afford things that come with so much value and elegance. I wear it very proudly!
When do you wear it and what do you wear it with?
The all-grey design matches anything and everything I wear. I can dress it up with a suit or a tux for a red-carpet event and it completes the outfit. I can dress it down with a swaggy airport outfit like sweats, a pair of boots and shades, and it still works just as well. The watch feels as diverse as my personal wardrobe.
What would be a dream watch for you to own?
Aside from this one, I would love to one day own an Audemars Piguet.
