Burberry Teams Up With Hunza G For Swimwear Collab

Burberry is gearing up for summer by teaming up with fellow British brand Hunza G on an exclusive swimwear collaboration.

Featuring Hunza G’s signature Original Crinkle™ ultra-stretch fabric – a textured material that requires over 9 million stitches to create – the silhouettes will perfectly sculpt bodies of all shapes and sizes, a body-inclusive ethos that Hunza G has become known for. The capsule, which leans into classic Burberry colours like cocoa and red, is a natural fit. “Our approach to material and craft is shaped by a relationship to the elements – pieces you can wear in and out of the water,” says Burberry’s chief creative officer Daniel Lee. “Bringing that together with the heritage of Burberry felt natural, to create something special that feels effortless,” adds Hunza G founder Georgiana Huddart.

The collab is comprised of four popular Hunza G silhouettes – the Faye, Tyler, Domino and Devyn – with Burberry check detailing on the edges. To mark the release, a campaign featuring actress Simone Ashley and model Alva Claire has been shot by Ryan McGinley, backdropped by a scene of sun-drenched, sandy beaches.

The partnership also sees the creation of a new motif, reimagining the Burberry Knight mascot as a seahorse bearing both Burberry and Hunza G branding that will be appear on the products’ packaging.
