The five-piece limited-edition capsule collection comes out as fans get ready for the imminent release of Laufey’s new album, A Matter of Time: The Final Hour. Working on the design process with her twin sister, creative director Junia, Laufey delved into the memories of their childhood among the rugged landscapes of the island. A crucial inspiration: Iceland’s wild and unpredictable weather – the same winds and storms 66°North has been protecting Icelandic fishermen and people around the world from for the past 100 years. Playful and elegantly simple knit and waterproof pieces characterise a collection that is not afraid to brave a rainy day. Shop here. CNB

Fashion Comes Alive With Saul Nash In Motion

V&A. Raphael Courts. Bodies dancing across the space, mirroring the Renaissance paintings on the walls. No, it’s not a scene from Night at the Museum, but the latest instalment of the V&A’s Fashion in Motion series, where leading fashion designers from across the world present performative pieces to the public. This time, the spotlight was on London-based designer Saul Nash, whose visionary technical garments have attracted global attention since his eponymous brand’s inception in 2018. At the core of Nash’s philosophy is the oscillation between fashion and dance, enveloping and liberating, art and movement. For his V&A installation, Nash choreographed a piece in direct response to the space in which the performance was taking place. The result: a modern-day interpretation of 1516 Raphael cartoons, with eight dancers wearing Nash’s latest collection moving in unison to a live sound installation by Azekel. Art history never felt so fashionably alive. CNB

RAVE ONE Sees An Epic Reprint

There was a time when you couldn’t Shazam the tune coming from the decks, or share your IG details with the guy in line for the loo. A time when you knew when you were getting into the club, but only found out just how late you were getting out by seeing the sun rise as you walked home. This was the world sublimated by the legendary Manchester night club The Haçienda, now brought back to life in IDEA‘s brand-new re-edition of Rave One by photographer Peter J Walsh. “Back then, I was just happy to be there, but, looking back, I now know, of course, how much this club changed music culture”, shared Walsh in the book’s introduction. From The Smiths to Noel Gallagher, the walls of The Haçienda not only witnessed generations of boundary-pushing artists raving to classic Acid House, but actively reshaped the culture those artists were contributing to. Rave One is a guaranteed dive into the rhythm of the Manchester raving haven, and one you do not want to miss. CNB

Wait No Longer…Hublot x Samuel Ross Is Back

Opening a bold new chapter in their collaborative book, allow Swiss watchmaker Hublot and British designer Samuel Ross to introduce the Big Bang Unico SR_A watch. For the first time, Ross’s SR_A unmistakable design language collides with Hublot’s powerhouse Unico Manufacture movement – pairing experimental design codes with the brand’s emblematic chronograph calibre engineering. The result is a watch that feels as much like contemporary art as it does precise timekeeping. Featured in a matte black tone, the monochrome ceramic exterior is finished with a honeycomb leather strap. The 42mm case in polished black ceramic is as if crafted from deliciously smooth satin – a world where material innovation meets structure in a statement piece for the wrist. And with this new watch, your time is never running low. Apart from in this instance, where the release is limited to 200 pieces… You might wanna move faster. Go go go! Shop here. Lillie Elston

Repossi Debut New Bling During Paris Fashion Week

As per Repossi’s bi-annual creative concept piece drop, it has a treat in store for those awaiting their next limited-edition piece. The No.8 Antifer ring is an adapted version of the maison’s pre-existing men’s Antifer model. Bringing bold sculptural design language to the unisex ring market, the No.8 embraces a fluid interpretation of once-gendered adornment. Generously chunky, geometrical and glam, the No.8 is crafted in delicious champagne gold, with two black lacquered triangular lines, encapsulated in paving diamonds. Repossi fixates on the tension between the matte volume of the gold and the sharp cut of the diamonds – creating a band that catches the light and preserves wearability, as a bold yet timeless piece. The No.8 Antifer will be dropped in Repossi boutiques in a limited series of 15 pieces, each one granted its own number. What are you waiting for? Seal the deal. LE
