The weather outside is warming, puffer coats are being put away and shorts are coming out. Boots, meanwhile, are – alas! – a thing of the past, so step instead into spring with Fila’s latest footwear collection, a range of low-cut sneaker silhouettes pulled from the archive and reimagined for 2026.

The first in the offering is Glio, a balletic trainer built with a classic, breathable Fila Pro Stabile upper for graceful movement and a barely-there lightness. Engineered for performance, to take you from your morning pilates to a night sipping negronis at Bar Basso, they balance technical precision with an effortless, off-duty elegance that doesn’t miss a beat. Coming in this season’s hero colourway silver moon, a soft metallic that catches the light like dusk on wet pavement, as well as a deliciously milky cream, these kicks are refined, minimal and utterly wearable.
The second shoe is the Ritmo Sleek, a modern update on the early-Aught’s Script Spike. Now boasting smooth suede construction that blends a retro spirit with a look that’s of today, Fila looks back to move forward. The Ritmo Sleeks come in a few mood-lifting colourways, most notably matcha green, a fresh, almost edible shade that’s sure to bring a spritely energy to sun-kissed dressing. There’s also a delightful three-tone burgundy version which would look superb peeking out beneath a swishy midi skirt or anchoring a sharply tailored suit.

Lensed here by Austrian photographer Guenter Parth, Glio and Ritmo Sleek come to life, backed by the vibrant hues and visceral textures of Vienna. Captured within The City of Music, Parth places the sleek trainers in front of Hundertwasser-like walls or hangs them from statues painted chartreuse, raspberry and green tea, reflecting the bubbly hues of these must-have shoes.
