Company description: a strategic consultancy, design studio and creative agency that specialises in the convergence of brand and entertainment.

Why did it make sense for your business to join The Independents group?

Sunshine has always worked closely with the companies in The Independents, so joining felt like a natural fit. We saw a lot of ourselves in companies like Karla Otto, Prodject and Bureau Betak, as they’re all entrepreneurial, globally minded and, most importantly, filled with genuinely good people. We feel incredibly privileged to be part of such a like-minded and impressive group.

What’s a project you’ve worked on lately that you’re proud of?

Among many rewarding projects, the repositioning and relaunch of the Italian heritage brand Ellesse immediately comes to mind. This allowed us to involve several group agencies, creating comprehensive 360-degree activations. It was immensely rewarding to fulfil so many touchpoints, from cultural strategy and creative ideation all the way through to execution and amplification.

What are you most excited about looking ahead for Sunshine?

Honestly, it’s hard to say what we’re not excited about! We’re called Sunshine for a reason: we’re inherent optimists, constantly thinking about new possibilities. The recent additions of incredible companies like 2×4, a design studio, and Terminal 9, who produce documentaries, significantly broadens the horizons of what we can bring to our client partners. Given that entertainment and culture are the heart and soul of our identity, having new partners in the group who share that passion and mindset is profoundly exciting for us.
