Bukayo Saka On The New Arsenal x A-Cold-Wall* Collab

Fans of the footy, this one’s for you. Arsenal and A-Cold-Wall* have teamed up for a limited-edition 22-piece collection and it’s a serious flex for both the pitch and the pavement.

This is the London-born brand’s first-ever collab with a football club, but Arsenal is hardly a stranger to the fashion world. In 2022, the Gunners linked with Labrum and Adidas on the 24/25 Arsenal FC away kit, as well as a five-piece capsule celebrating the club’s African connection. Then came 2023’s London Fashion Week, when the Emirates swapped shin pads for kitten heels and became the stage for the first stadium-hosted runway show for Labrum SS25

Now comes A-Cold-Wall*: a collection of jackets, tracksuits, trousers, polos, tees and hoodies, plus accessories like socks, scarves and even a Gunnersaurus figurine reimagined in the Derby kit. Expect faded dyes, layered sublimation prints, hi-build textures – details that feel distinctly A-Cold-Wall*, all while nodding to Arsenal’s own industrial beginnings back in 1886.

The campaign itself? A star-studded squad sheet: first team players Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Declan Rice, Martin Ødegaard, Olivia Smith, Kyra Cooney-Cross and Taylor Hinds are all pictured, with Ethan Nwaneri and Katie McCabe also stepping into the frame.

And who better to anchor the drop than Saka himself, whose own wardrobe already carries A-Cold-Wall*? “I think the collaboration is very cool, I’m a fan of A-Cold-Wall* as a brand, I have a few of their pieces so I’m happy that my club is now collaborating with them and I’m excited to see the full range.”

On set, though, the shoot didn’t exactly feel like work: “Being on set with my teammates for a fashion campaign is pretty fun, there’s a lot of laughing, you know there’s times where we have to be serious and most of the time we’re not serious. But yeah I enjoyed it, it’s a nice day and I’m sure the pictures will look nice when they’re done.”

His pick of the bunch? Surprisingly low-key. “My favourite piece from the collection is probably the scarf, it looks really nice.”

Saka admits style is stitched into his everyday life as much as football. “Fashion plays a big role in my life, I think most people like to look nice and dress well everyday. If I could swap wardrobe with one of my teammates, it would probably be Dec [Declan Rice] or Willow [William Saliba] or Jurrien [Timber]… maybe Jurrien, he’s my size.”

The Arsenal x A-Cold-Wall* collection is available now at The Armoury, Arsenal Direct,  selected global retailers and online here.
