Home Is At The Heart Of Alaia’s New Paris Flagship

Last week, Alaïa unveiled a dazzling new luxury gem on Paris’ renowned Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Embodying a complimentary blend of timeless heritage, the fresh flagship store marks a major milestone for the maison. That’s because with this opening, Alaïa completes the trilogy of its iconic Parisian addresses, joining the historic boutiques on Rue de Moussy and Rue de Marignan, each reflecting a distinct facet of the house’s identity. The new retail space, located at number 15, stands as a testament to Alaïa’s legacy and its visionary approach to craftsmanship, intimacy and beauty.

Designed by the visionary architect duo Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa, in collaboration with creative director Pieter Mulier, the shop is truly an architectural marvel, embodying the maison’s luxury vision of warmth, intimacy and purity. Taking inspiration from Alaïa’s iconic “second skin” philosophy, the interiors embrace the brand’s sculptural, body-hugging silhouettes. In fact, every individual detail speaks to the artistry and sensuality at the heart of the brand.

Softly illuminated by delicate pink hues and a spectrum of nude tones, the boutique redefines what a retail space can be – effortlessly merging art, design and fashion. Beyond its striking design, the shop is a canvas for Mulier’s curated selection of art and design pieces, chosen to emulate the feeling of a home. From sculptural furniture to captivating artworks, every element elevates the space into something more than a store – it’s a place where fashion connects with creativity, craftsmanship and culture.
