Initially debuting on the brand’s SS24 catwalk, Loewe is now releasing its exclusive jewellery collaboration with American artist and sculptor Lynda Benglis. Featuring twenty delectable designs, the pieces have each been constructed as wearable sculptures.
Incorporating an eclectic mix of techniques into her work, the accessories are shaped by a combination of knotting, pleating and pouring to truly embody Benglis’ artistic flair. Creating original maquettes in her Santa Fe studio using foil, mesh, clay, wire and polyurethane, the designs are then brought to life using 18ct gold, sterling silver, enamel and crystal. Available in the form of rings, cuffs, brooches, earrings and pendants, there’s a jazzy jewel for every occasion. With Benglis being known for her ever-persisting desire to innovate and push forward, and Loewe’s Jonathan Anderson centring this same ethos in his collections, this partnership is a match made in heaven.
