Meet Dior Men’s new global ambassador: Kylian Mbappé
2022 will see the introduction of a brand new global ambassador for Dior Men. Star footy player and striker for Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappé will be fronting various campaigns for the brand, including ads for global fragrance hit Dior Sauvage. And he’s only just turned 23! What can’t this man do?
Parnell Mooney ramps up the sex appeal for SS22
Fancy a spot of dogging, anyone? For SS20, London designer Rory Parnell Mooney collides his queer-coded signatures with ceremonial dress inspired by his Catholic upbringing in Ireland. Taking his models on a naughty, night time outing to the woods, Mooney introduces womenswear to his repertoire, designing a wardrobe to be worn by anyone and everyone. Joining forces with photographer Oscar Foster Kane, stylist Gerry O’Kane and art director Jamie Reid, the designer is set to release a full collection campaign in the new year, and has just opened up his own e-store. Things are about to get hot under the collar this Crimbo. Shop here.
Fiorucci gets the Lakwena touch
London-based artist Lakwena Maciver has brought her colourful oeuvre to the world of Fiorucci. For a limited-edition capsule collection, the artist has reworked the brand’s logo, splashing bold patterns and bright hues across a series of shirts, trackies, tees and, of course, denim. To coincide with the release, the artist has created a zine alongside a short film starring a gospel choir led by Lakwena’ s sister Juliana Abimaro in South London. Shop here.
Glenn Martens channels the New Brave for Diesel’s pre-fall 2022 collection
Sexy, radical and rebellious. This is how Glenn Martens describes his first pre-fall collection since joining Diesel, which optimises what his vision for the brand stands for. The planet-positive collection sees Diesel codes, such as denim, rewritten for the now, with Martens concocting trompe l’oeil shirt-dresses, bags and trousers, alongside trippy-printed twinsets and going out-out garb – the skimpier, the better.

The sportswear pioneers from Saint Moritz have plenty on offer this season, though we’re particularly drawn to the Julia jacket. The ski-ready staple comes in a range of finishes, from metallic to leopard print. Shop here.
