Berlin-based label GmbH has released its first-ever pre-collection. Carrying on from the brand’s AW21 collection, which collided corporate with clubwear, the collection features the sort of garb you can wear straight from the desk to Berghain, without the need to go home and change. “Each collection fuels the other, and it’s a constant and organic process from each collection,” says design duo Serhat Isik and Benjamin Huseby, who founded the brand after meeting on a Berlin dancefloor in 2015.
The collection lavishes in well-established GmbH codes from workwear and clubwear, which come rendered in pleather, Lycra, and exposed hardware. Some standout pieces of the collection include the brand’s staple fleece jackets which have been remixed and redone in wool and faux python, a Tahir flannel shirt with biker patches, Raha Lycra tops in silver lurex and neon. The pair have also brought back a GmbH classic: the embroidered Turkish wrestling trousers, now made in denim.
