How does Church’s – a brand which defines tradition and lavishes in classicism – navigate an entirely digital fashion week? Rather splendidly, actually. The footwear specialists kept it short and sweet with a film coming in at just over two minutes long. Set in an auction house, the film follows a handsome young gent who runs through the city, desperately trying to make it to the event in time for the final lot.
Whilst other bidders go head-to-head on paintings and elegant sculptures, the protagonist is desperate to get his hands on some Church’s Derbys, Oxfords and glossy Chelsea boots – all pulled from the brand’s AW21 collection. And he gets there! Just in the nick of time, and a bit out of breath.
