For all you Kim Jones fanatics out there – us included – a date has finally been set for the designer’s big Fendi debut. After it was announced back in September that the design maven would take charge of Fendi’s womenswear collections, whilst still keeping his post at Dior men’s, Jones will show his first Fendi Couture collection January 27, 2021.
The show will be held at Palais Brongniart during Paris Haute Couture Week. As to what’s the come, the house has released a teaser image featuring Adwoa Aboah and Thatcher Thornton, who each sport 1920s-style cropped curls, courtesy of the legendary Sam McKnight. Other stellar names on Jones’ Fendi roster include stylist Alister Mackie, creative director Ronnie Cooke Newhouse and make-up guru Peter Phillips. Jot it down in your calendars, this one’s not to be missed.
