We think we speak for everyone when we say 2020 needs a bit More Joy. Luckily for us, Christopher and Tammy Kane are bearers of some rather fantastic news. The brother-and-sister duo, the brains behind the powerhouse brand that is Christopher Kane, are launching a More Joy summer collection. Following on from a sold-out, holiday season capsule – which included baubles, mugs and pyjamas – More Joy is back to ensure you have a sexy summer indeed. With a wide variety of goodies all up for grabs, starting at £5, the duo have touched all bases. First up is the first More Joy swimwear collection, including trunks, bikinis and swimsuits. “After the success of the More Joy Summer 2019 collection, we knew immediately that we wanted to add swimwear to complete the holiday beach/pool wardrobe. It was a no brainer,” explain the duo. Each piece comes stamped in signature C Kane mantras – ‘Sex,’ ‘Special,’ and of course, ‘More Joy’.
Who did the duo have in mind when they planned on bringing More Joy to the beach? “Pam Anderson from Baywatch comes to mind. That was definitely an inspiration for the Special one-piece swimsuit,” say the pair. “There are so many iconic beach babes, but let’s not forget they were shot by the best photographers in the best lighting with the best hair and make-up, and that’s not real life… We like the idea of More Joy being worn by people from all walks of life, each person manifesting the message of More Joy within their own lives, by that I don’t mean product, I mean genuine feelings of joy. After the year we have had it is more important than ever to stop and reflect on how fortunate we are to have good health, family, and friends.”
