We love Birthday parties here at 10 Magazine. A single 20th anniversary celebration was never going to be enough for us. After all, twenty years of uncompromising creativity and independence is something to be very proud of. Following our stellar London bash, we took our 20th anniversary celebrations to Paris. For the latest chapter of our birthday adventure, we teamed up with the British Fashion Council and Caroline Rush to host a soirée in honour of creative British talent at the Jacques Bar at the Hoxton Paris. There were queues around the block to get in (everyone wanted to be there) and the party spilled out onto the stairs and the courtyard of the Hoxton. The creme de la creme of the French capital’s creative night creatures came to shine, show off. These kids really know how to put a look together. They partied alongside fashion industry titans like Edward Enninful, Katie Grand, Joerg Koch, Marc Goehring, Giorgio Guidotti and Mel Ottenberg. The super stylist reminisced with our proud editor in Chief, Sophia Neophitou, about the all the fantastical shoots he did for 10’s early issues. Yes kids, so many industry greats have passed through Ten Towers and they still do. Twenty years on and the magazine remains a vital platform for creative talent. Some of our favourite design names came to help us celebrate, including Christopher Kane, Molly Goddard, Marine Serre, Edward Crutchley, Michael Halpern, Richard Quinn and Richard Malone. They danced all night to unstoppable beats mixed by Ten Mag’s favourite DJ Lagoon Femshayma, who had applied a special red-faced maquillage for the occasion (we were honoured!). The party was supposed to end before midnight but was still going strong into the small hours. Our feet still hurt from all the dancing but we don’t care. Happy birthday to us!
A big birthday thanks to British Fashion Council, Hoxton Paris, Rivie Paris, Citadelle, Fever Tree, Lanana Wine, Ciroc, The Nice Company and Heineken.
