Beware Coach fans, it’s time to brush up on your Mandarin. As just announced, the All-American brand is bringing their Pre-Fall show to Shanghai in a big celebration of 15 years on the Chinese market. Staging their first ever co-ed show outside New York City, Coach headed by Stuart Vevers will be embracing the culture of their host country with specially designed accessories, ready-to-wear and trainers created in collaboration with Chinese cultural icons. Comes December 8th and Coach will be lighting up Shanghai with their colourful New Americana, millennial fashions.
Coach’s move to show in Shanghai seems to part of a bigger migration of trans-seasonal shows to the Far East. After both Valentino and Dior menswear announced showing their Pre-Fall collections in Japan, it looks like the destination show circuit is getting more exciting than ever before.
