ALEXACHUNG: Ready-to-Wear SS19

Prepare for take-off. We’re at the London Fashion Week Airport, terminal SS19. Destination? The world of Alexa Chung. For her travel-inspired debut catwalk show, London’s IT-girl-turned-designer and our fave husky-voiced Alexa Chung transported a full basement of Victoria House into her own little island, somewhere between 1970s Paris and New York City today. The show was quintessentially Alexa. Printed prairie dresses, rain capes, boiler suits and dungarees – it was like a Best Of album of her personal style, spiced up with some travelling chic accessories (tote bags galore). And she’s nothing but smart because, who doesn’t want a little bit of Chung in their closet? There’s the boyish to her feminine side – the two-piece Mick Jagger tailoring to the slinky Bianca Jagger slip dress. We’ll take both, thank you very much. Wearable clothes that will take you from early mornings to late nights, the Alexachung SS19 collection was packed up and ready for take-off. Hopefully, there’s no extra cost for checked in luggage because after shopping these lewks, we reckon we’ll need more than just a backpack.
