Yes, you read that right. Forget about brand collaborations – the future is in the kebab. You can quote us on that one. Diesel’s street cred has just gone out of the roof thanks to their latest capsule collection, one designed together with Berlin’s most iconic kebab shop – Mustafa’s Gemüse Kebap. You haven’t been drunk in Berlin if you haven’t had some of Mustafa’s street-gourmet processed meats. The cult food kiosk situated in the middle of Kreuzberg (conveniently next to all of our fave dancing spots) transcends space and time – it’s a place everyone knows the direction to, however many voddies they might have in them.
The Diesel x Mustafa collab is a one-off capsule collection with jumpers, tees and hats not only serving as limited edition merch for the shop, but also a satire of our current obsession with collabs. Yes, we admit it – we are collaboholics. And thanks to this collection, we can wear it proudly on our chest. So, next time you see us queuing in front of the stickered-up Berlin kiosk at about 4am on a Sunday morning, we’ll have our stickered-up Diesel jumper to keep us warm and make us feel like we belong.
