Have you recently found yourself pining for a very large pair of gold headphones? Well, allow us to introduce you to the Balmain x Beats collab, photographed atop of Kylie Jenner’s head. The collaboration works in many ways – not only on an alliteration level, or the fact that Kardashians love a bit of Balmain, but also because, as pointed out by Olivier Rousteing, “the best of music can only be paired with the best in design.” Couldn’t agree more. As the face of the new campaign, Kylie was papped standing among some shrubbery in that green strappy number from Balmain’s SS17 collection. How did she get there? What’s she listening to? Maybes she was just trying to get away from it all, because for her, that’s what music is all about, “no matter what you’re going through, when you put on a song that you love, and that you just connect with, it can change your whole mood and just lift you up. Even if it’s just for a few minutes…I love that escape music gives us.” Isn’t she wise?
