Cast your mind back to the NBC sitcom 30 Rock and the character of Liz Lemon, more specifically, the moment she asks Jack Donaghy why, exactly, he is wearing a tuxedo. This is their Black Carpet collection, designed by Kris Van Assche – think of it as partywear for the modern young man about town. As Van Assche said of the collection, “the idea of the Black Carpet was to convey the energy and rebel attitude of the runway collection on a capsule collection of eveningwear while playing with the embellishment codes and the know-how of dior. Reworking the evening suit by pushing it in more extreme interpretations.”
