Wowza! A hot, steaming delivery of Chanel has just landed in our inbox via their latest campaign. Which has cheered us up greatly. Because it may be sunny, but it’s still a Monday. Consider this, then, a helpful way to support your ailing, weekend-addled body through the afternoon. For AW16, it seems like Karl has got handy with a Pritt stick and scissors, being, as this is, a collage – a collage of all things Chanel. “I was tired of a girl holding a bag,” said the ever-wise Karl. “I wanted to make collages. I love collages and I thought the collection was really suitable for collages. I wanted to do something else that we have never done before. It is not an artistic research. It is an inspiration without roots — spontaneous,” he told WWD. It’s a bit like those sticker books you had as a child, but instead but instead of collecting the various characters of say, the Animals of Farthing Wood, you can instead collect lots of very expensive Chanel clothing. Ready to stick straight on to the various corresponding parts of your bod. Parfait!
