Surprise! It’s Monday. Well not a surprise that it’s Monday, I’m sure we were all dreading it from yesterday. But a surprise from Dolce & Gabbana. We all knew that they would be showing their ‘Alta Moda’ show in Naples, but what we weren’t expecting was a menswear equivalent – Alta Sartoria. So double whammy from Dolce & Gabbanny. And what was the mood at the show? Bond. James Bond. From the tuxedos to Shirley Bassey belting ‘Goldfinger’ on the soundtrack, that much was evident. But obviously it wasn’t just as simple as the tiny blue swim shorts Daniel Craig wore in Casino Royale. It had a Dolce spin on it. Super luxe sequins, and gold, and crocodile. All ending with a fabulous firework display. Who knows if Dolce & Gabbana have a license to kill (maybe they do?) but they certainly have a license to thrill.
