Ahhh. Look at these and feel calm. Because this, Jil Sander’s Resort 2017 collection, is instant relaxation, albeit in the form of clothing, and not in a I’m-about-to-drift-off kind of a way, but more in a relieved sort of way, relief in knowing that there is, in fact, a ready-made wardrobe that fulfills all your possible resorting needs, or really all your needs in general. And yes, Jil Sander ladies, who desire a precise, severe cut, there is that, but here it is softened, the silhouettes expanded, slouchier. Dare we say… comfy? “There’s a very clear identity to confront,” Rodolfo Paglialunga said to Vogue Runway. “You don’t go to a sushi restaurant and ask for roast beef!
